Celtic fans are in universal disbelief today as the rumours that Bayer Leverkusen could be set to tempt Efe Ambrose away from the Glaswegians appear to have gathered pace.

The Daily Record have claimed that the German outfit would be willing to pay as much as £1.5 million to gain the services of a defender which many Celtic fans have nicknamed ‘bomb scare’.

The centre-back signed for the Scottish champions in 2012 from FC Ashdod and has been a constant source of frustration with a number of high-profile clangers and mistakes.
