"Seattle Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner has been named in a police report -- by a man who claims the NFL star attacked him at an L.A. County home ... TMZ Sports has learned," the report from TMZ read.
Pomona Police apparently confirmed to TMZ that they were called to a California home at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after the alleged victim said he and Browner engaged in an argument before Browner attacked him on the driveway.
He then went on to claim that he suffered an injury to his hand at the hands of the Seahawks. Browner is said to have left the scene in a white Bentley before the police arrived.
It is not yet known what the two were arguing about. The incident is under investigation, however.
Browner is back at the Seattle Seahawks after a year with the New England Patriots, where he won a SuperBowl against Seattle, and last season at the New Orleans Saints, where he didn't have a great time in a penalty-filled season.
The 31-year-old is now back with the team he made his name at. After being undrafted in 2005 out of Oregon State, Browner spent time in the CFL before forming a fearsome secondary in Seattle as one-quarter of the Legion of Boom alongside Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor.
