Arsenal have made contact with Barcelona over the availability of outcast Arda Turan.
This is according to Spanish newspaper Sport, whose front page (see below) claims the Gunners are interested in signing the Turkey international.
Indeed, it's believed Barcelona are keen to ship Turan this summer despite signing him just 18 months ago from Atletico Madrid for £29 million.

Arsene Wenger's interest is understandable, of course, given Arsenal's dire need for improved attacking options on their right flank.
Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain both flattered to deceive throughout last season, while Danny Welbeck's injury woes continue to hinder his progress.
Turan would be following in the footsteps of Alexis Sanchez - who's a transfer target of Juventus' - should he decide on a move to the Emirates Stadium.
As mentioned, Arsenal face a battle to keep hold of their Chilean star amidst interest from the Serie A champions.
Italian outlet Tuttosport reports that Juve lodged an underwhelming €35 million bid for Sanchez recently, which was swiftly rejected by the Gunners.
They claim Arsenal would cash in if the price is right, but judging by the Old Lady's lowly opening offer and how important Sanchez is in north London, it's worth taking the whole transfer story with a pinch of salt.
Elsewhere, former Juventus striker Alvaro Morata would prefer a move to the Emirates over Chelsea because of the Champions League football on offer.
The Spain international rejoined Real Madrid earlier this week for £23 million but now finds himself the subject of a £65 million move away.
