West Ham United and France star Dimitri Payet was the best player at Euro 2016 according to UEFA's player barometer.
He beat the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Antoine Griezmann to the award, despite being unable to help his side defeat Portugal in the final of the tournament.
Although not able to claim the victory, this accolade will add to Payet's personal achievements this season, having been named West Ham's Player of the Year and named in the Premier League Team of the Year in his first season in England.

The 29-year-old scored nine goals and produced 12 assists in his debut season with the Hammers and he followed up that impressive form with three goals for Les Bleus at Euro 2016, after being recalled to the national side in March for the first time in nine months.
Payet's moment of the tournament came in their opening game against Romania at the Stade de France, when he scored a 20-yard screamer in the 90th minute to secure a 2-1 win for his side.
He also bagged goals in the 2-0 win against Albania and the 5-2 annihilation of Iceland in the quarter-final.
A statement on UEFA’s official website read: “Dimitri Payet ended UEFA Euro 2016 where he started it, on top of the Player Barometer ahead of Antoine Griezmann and Gareth Bale, while Rui Patrício overtook Manuel Neuer as top goalkeeper.”
Payet became the villain - or the hero, depending on how much you loathe Ronaldo - in the 25th minute of the final with Portugal, as his earlier challenge forced Portugal's talisman off the pitch.
But unfortunately for the Frenchman and his teammates, even the loss of the Real Madrid superstar could not encourage the host nation to produce a goal on the most important evening of many of their careers.
Payet has been heavily linked with a move away from West Ham after a dominant first season at the club, and his performances at this tournament would not have discouraged any potential suitors.
The former Marseille man has been touted as a potential signing for Real Madrid, with manager and France legend, Zinedine Zidane heaping praise on him before the tournament had even started.
The Evening Standard report him as saying: “From a coaches perspective he is everything you look for in an attacking midfield player.
“He can score goals, he can create goals, he has real quality from set pieces. Any club would want him, he is improving all the time.”
Only time will tell whether Zidane will make a move for the talented star this summer.
