After Ryan Giggs made a joke at Roy Keane’s expense last week, the Welshman must have feared it wouldn’t be long before his former Manchester United teammate exacted his revenge.
Giggs’ fears were realised during the Euro 2016 final between France and Portugal, as Keane brilliantly took his chance to level the scores following the moth infestation at the Stade de France.
Keane, showing a rare glimpse of his light-hearted side, joked that the moth invasion may have been the result of Giggs opening his wallet. (Scroll down to watch the video).

Giggs and his ITV Sport co-pundits Ian Wright and Lee Dixon, plus presenter Mark Pougatch, all found Keane’s joke very amusing - as did the millions of people watching from home.
With gags like that, perhaps Keane should consider a new career as a stand-up comic.
Video: Keane makes joke at Giggs' expense
Is this is why Keane wanted revenge...
Giggs was asking for this jibe, though, after taking the mickey out of Keane during the Euro 2016 semi-final between Portugal and Wales last Wednesday.
The former Manchester United player and coach was asked about Wales' chances of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup and responded by saying: “Well, yeah, it’s a nice easy group…” and then immediately turned, with a smile on his face, to Keane.
Keane is, of course, the assistant manager of the Republic of Ireland, who find themselves in Group D alongside the Welsh.
Giggs is one of the few people who could have got away with taking the p*ss out of the fiery Irishman.
Portugal win Euro 2016
Keane and Giggs went on to watch their former Manchester United teammates Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani lift the Euro 2016 trophy.
Eder, the former Swansea City striker, scored the only goal of the game in extra time.
