Robins extend Hayles loan

Leicester striker Barry Hayles will remain on loan at League One rivals Cheltenham for a second month.

The 36-year-old has been at Whaddon Road since the start of the season, and the relevant paperwork should be completed so that he can make his fourth appearance for the Robins against Hartlepool on Saturday.

"Barry's experience has already proved important to us," Cheltenham manager Keith Downing told the club's official website.

"I am sure that he will also get stronger and sharper with additional matches, so there is more to come from him."

Downing may also seek to tie up loan extensions for midfielders Jennison Myrie-Williams and Dean Sinclair in the coming days.

Myrie-Williams' one-month deal from Bristol City ends after the Pools match, while Sinclair's loan from Charlton expires on September 16.
