Even after Portugal reached the Euro 2016 final with a convincing victory over Wales, few people actually believed they could beat France, the tournament hosts, at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis last weekend.
Les Bleus were the overwhelming favourites to lift the Henri Delaunay Cup in front of their home fans, but Portugal - even without talisman Cristiano Ronaldo for most of the match - upset the odds and were crowned European champions for the first time in their history thanks to a goal from Eder in extra-time.
Incredibly, one football fan successfully predicted the exact outcome of the match and bagged himself a cool £1 million in the process.

Daman Chick, a kitchen fitter from Birmingham, bet £5 with BetVictor that Eder would score the winning goal for Portugal in the 109th minute.
The 32-year-old placed this bet in the 84th minute of the match - the odds were still 14,322-1 - and didn’t know he’d become a millionaire until several days later.

He didn't realise he'd won at first
A worldwide #MissingMillionare campaign was launched on social media and in newspapers after nobody came forward to claim the prize - and Mr Chick eventually realised he’d won the competition.
"Only on Wednesday morning, when my wife was sent a picture of the article in the Birmingham Mail did I know the #MissingMillionaire campaign was looking for me," Mr Chick told ITV News.
"In all honesty, it was hard to speak through the surge of tears that came over me."
Rather than think of all the extravagant purchases he’s now able to make, Mr Chick told reporters he plans to treat his parents first.
"They've worked hard enough to support me over the years, so I want to give them something back," he added.

BetVictor speak out
Matt Scarrott, BetVictor director of Sportsbook, said: "When we devised the campaign, our aim was to make someone a millionaire overnight.
"As it happens, Eder's extra-time goal for Portugal has indeed made one happy punter an instant millionaire - a life-changing sum of money - and we are thrilled for Daman."
