The 28-year-old has produced what must surely be a genuine contender for the worst own goal of all time - and we don’t say that lightly - in a friendly against Stal Mielec.

Under pressure from Stal Mielec’s right winger, the Serbian left-back inexplicably lashed a clearance across the face of his goal and looked on in horror as the ball ricocheted off the far post and into the back of the net.
