With the WWE draft approaching, fans are wondering which former stars the company have contacted, with the likes of Tajiri and Brian Kendrick expected to remain on the main roster to make up the numbers and help put over younger talent.
On Tuesday we will find out who the WWE have been talking to, and one of the names expected to feature on either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live is rumoured to be Tommy Dreamer.
NO DEAL SIGNED YET
It’s being reported that Dreamer hasn’t signed an official deal with the WWE, but if he does, he won’t be able to run his House of Hardcore promotion.

This looks like a potential stumbling block. Considering this is his project, it’s unclear whether he’d be ready to give that up at 45 years of age as his promotion still draws thousands of fans, especially if he’s being brought in to play a bit-part role on either show.
Since finishing up with ECW, he’s worked with numerous promotions including TNA, while he was also involved in the feud between The Dudley Boyz and The Wyatt Family not too long ago.
He’s also taken part in a handful of skits on the Edge & Christian show on the WWE Network in recent months, so there’s a chance he may not need too much convincing to step back into the ring again.
It’s obvious that Dreamer won’t have a huge impact on either roster, but the experience the Hardcore legend brings is something the younger talent can surely learn from and use to their advantage.
