“I was very confident when I touched him,” Lineker said after his triumph. “I am very confident in my knockout power and I knew that when I managed to start touching him, I was going to knock him out.

He was not wrong.

“Not everybody can withstand a knockdown like that and I really congratulate him,” he continued. “He’s a very tough guy but I knew I was going to get the KO.”

So what is next for "Hands of Stone"? Well, he wants to face Dominick Cruz for the UFC Bantamweight Championship.

“I’m coming off three convincing wins and I think I deserve it,” he said. “I came here to please the crowd and that’s what I am happy to do. Dominick Cruz, I’m coming for you baby!”
