It has been quite a week for Cristiano Ronaldo.
After guiding Portugal to their first European Championship victory - albeit from the sidelines - on Sunday, he would be forgiven for taking it easy over the next few weeks until the Spanish season kicks off once again at the end of August.
But this is Ronaldo we're talking about, and the Real Madrid star finds it impossible to stay out of the limelight, even when isn't kicking a ball around.
The 31-year-old treated himself to a present after lifting the Euro 2016 trophy in France last weekend by splashing out on a Bugatti Veyron - a car worth £1.7 million - but perhaps more importantly, is also going to special measures to speed up his recovery from injury.
Ronaldo was in tears as he was forced to stretchered off the pitch just 25 minutes into the final after Dimitri Payet damaged his knee in a clattering challenge earlier in the game.
There has been no official diagnosis revealed regarding the extent of the Portuguese captain's injury, however the initial reports suggested it had been ligament damage.
Although Ronaldo is currently enjoying a rare holiday in Ibiza, he hasn't entirely put his feet up as Marca have reportedly spotted the forward coming out of a special dental clinic.
The Spanish publication claim Clinica Evidental also offer a hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) - a service that is used to increase the oxygen levels within the blood to enhance the body's natural healing process by placing the patient in a special chamber filled with pure oxygen.
An unnamed spokesperson for the clinic told Marca: "Thanks to hyperbaric medicine the regeneration of tissue and recovery from injury is stimulated, reducing in this way the risk of future injury and physical deterioration.
"This speeds up the recovery time. Today this is one of the most effective complementary therapies in injury recovery."
Despite Ronaldo's best efforts it is highly unlikely he will be rushed back feature in Real Madrid's pre-season tour of America and could even be rested for their European Super Cup tie with Sevilla on August 9.
The 2016/17 La Liga fixtures were announced today and Madrid will be hoping their talisman is fit to kick off their campaign away to Real Sociedad on August 21.
