The situation is starting to get a little worrying for the Premier League champions Leicester City.
Late on Friday afternoon, it emerged that Chelsea are close to securing the services of N’Golo Kante - news which prompted Gary Lineker to post a rather surprising X-rated tweet - and hours later it was revealed that Riyad Mahrez is also set to leave the King Power Stadium.
This is according to the Guardian, who claim Mahrez has rejected the Foxes’ latest contract offer and has instructed his representatives to find him a new club this summer.

Mahrez reportedly wants to leave the English champions because he wants a new challenge away from the club.
The Algeria international, who joined Leicester in a £375,000 deal from Le Havre in 2014, was magnificent for Claudio Ranieri’s side last season.
Mahrez was magnificent last season
In 37 Premier League appearances, he scored 17 goals and registered 11 assists.
These stats - and the fact Leicester completed an extraordinary title triumph - led to the slender winger picking up the coveted PFA Player of the Year award.
Leicester had offered Mahrez a new deal worth £80,000-a-week - less, incidentally, than the new £100k-a-week contract handed to Jamie Vardy - and Ranieri insisted the Algerian would stay at the club only this week.
Ranieri thought Mahrez was staying
“He remains with us. He’s not the kind of man who will say: ‘Coach I want to leave.’ He is happy here,” Ranieri said at the club’s training camp in Austria.
However, it seems Mahrez will be at a new club later this summer - potentially in time for the start of the new Premier League season.
