Odell Beckham Jr mobbed by NFL fans in Germany

Odell Beckham Jr is a bonafide sporting superstar, with his name and face plastered everywhere on advertisements and in the media.

It seems that the New York Giants receiver's fame isn't limited just to North America, however.

A recent video posted on Twitter by the official NFL account shows just what happened when Beckham steps out in public in Germany. It gets pretty crazy.

OBJ is in the middle of a tour of Europe to promote the game of football outside the States, and with Beckham and the Giants playing against the Rams in London this year, what better way to promote the game than to get one of its hottest young stars out there.

However, not even Odell could've expected the reaction he was going to get.

That is literally a crowd of hundreds of people swarming the wideout. And all he's doing is walking down the street.

So, while you may claim that playing NFL games in Europe is a waste of time, just look at this video to see how much these fans absolutely love football, the American one - not soccer.

With German wide receiver Moritz Boehringer now in the league with the Minnesota Vikings, maybe a Giants - Vikings game in Munich could be on the cards. Lord knows it would sell out.
