Manchester City are set to launch a £34 million bid for Leicester City midfielder Riyad Mahrez, according to The Sun.
The report claims that revered manager Pep Guardiola will look to bolster his forward options by bringing the Algeria international to the Etihad in this transfer window.
Mahrez, 25, was one of the standout players in the Premier League last term after playing a prominent role in his side's title success.

It's not exactly surprising, then, that his future is currently the subject of debate, with it now appearing that City are the front-runners to secure his signature.
Guardiola has already started to change the dynamic of his squad, adding Germany international Ilkay Gundogan and striker Nolito to the ranks.
But the signing of Mahrez really would prove to be quite the coup for the former Barcelona boss, who will be desperate to lead his side to the title this term.
The right-sided midfielder, who secure the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award last term, has also been linked to the likes of Barcelona, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.
But the notion that Mahrez will definitely leave the King Power Stadium this summer may not be entirely correct.
Claudio Ranieri's side are gearing up to play in this season's Champions League competition and will be hopeful of keeping their talisman for at least another year.
Kante & Vardy
Star striker Jamie Vardy has already committed his future to the club after snubbing Arsenal's advances earlier on in this window. Midfield ace N'Golo Kante has, however, departed Leicester in favour of a move to Chelsea.
But the saga involving Mahrez may well rumble on for some time to come. City, much like Leicester, are able to offer the player elite European football, but will the versatile midfielder give up on the club that has given him so much? Only time will tell.
