Arsenal are close to securing the services of Bolton Wanderers defender Rob Holding, according to The Guardian.
The report claims that the England Under-21 international travelled down to London on Monday for a medical and to finalise personal terms with the Gunners.
Holding, 20, looks set to complete a move to the Emirates Stadium after Bolton accepted a bid in the region of £2 million from Arsenal.

The youngster, who has been at Bolton since the age of seven, was named the club's Player of the Year for last season and was then handed a place in Gareth Southgate’s Under-21 England squad.
Predominantly a centre-back, Holding, who is a ball-playing defender, can also star at left-back and should prove to be an exciting coup for Arsene Wenger and co.
Holding on his way to Arsenal
It's uncertain at this stage as to whether he will be handed an immediate role in the Arsenal first-team, but there's no reason why he won't be able to establish himself as a key player for the club over the coming years.

While Holding is set to join the ranks at the Emirates for just £2m, Stones has been rated at the astronomical price of £50m.
According to Twitter, Arsenal may have just found themselves a bargain:
