Augsburg defender Ragnar Klavan is set to complete a move to Liverpool on Wednesday, according to Sky Sports.
The report claims that Klavan, 30, is currently undergoing a medical on Merseyside ahead of the £4.2 million transfer.
Klavan, who has been capped over 100 times for Estonia, looks set to join the ranks at Anfield as cover to Mamadou Sakho and Joe Gomez, who both currently have injuries.

New signing Joel Matip picked up a knock during Liverpool's pre-season friendly fixture against Wigan on Sunday, but he's not expected to be out of action for too long.
It seems that Klavan could play a similar role to the one that experienced defender Kolo Toure played last season.
Toure was used sparingly by Klopp but had a key role to play after numerous players spent spells on the sidelines.
Ultimately, though, Toure departed the club at the end of the season after his contract came to an end, so it appears that Klavan will act as his direct replacement.
Currently his national team's captain, there's no reason why Klavan wouldn't be able to adapt to the English game.
His versatility could also help Liverpool; the robust defender started his career in midfield and has also starred at left-back.
It's fair to say, then, that Klopp is slowly but surely changing the dynamic of his side on Merseyside. While the purchase of Klavan appears to be imminent, the Reds faithful will also be hoping to see the club land Georginio Wijnaldum from Newcastle United.
Reports have indicated that the Championship outfit want as much as £27m for the midfielder, so it remains to be seen as to whether the Liverpool hierarchy manage to get the deal over the line.
