The saga involving Paul Pogba's potential return to Manchester United may have only just begun.
The France international has been linked with a mega-money move to Old Trafford throughout the course of the summer, but it's far from certain as to whether the club's hierarchy will be able to get the deal over the line before the start of the new season.
Pogba, 23, has gone from strength-to-strength at Italian giants Juventus and would prove a remarkable coup for the Red Devils in their pursuit of glory under new manager Jose Mourinho.

Reports, of course, have indicated that United will have to break the world-record to land the midfielder, with The Guardian recently claiming that the Premier League outfit could make a £100 million bid for their former player.
It's fair to say, then, that after landing Pogba on a free transfer, Serie A outfit Juventus could be about to make a huge profit on the player.
But it appears that there may well be a twist to the saga.
The report indicates that Pogba and agent Mino Raiola would be entitled to 20% of any potential deal. Ultimately, then, a £100m plus move would make Pogba and his representatives very rich.
At this stage, there's a sense of uncertainty surrounding the player's future. Reports had suggested that the Red Devils were set to meet Raiola in an attempt to secure the services of his client, but that may not be the case.
Super-agent Raiola has brilliantly reacted to recent reports, describing them as "bull****."
“All of what you read is bullshit,” he said, as per Goal.com. “That’s all there is.”
It's going to be an interesting period, but it's safe to say that United supporters won't be getting too excited just yet.
