Forget posing with the shirt or being photographed on the pitch, Norwegian side FK Haugesund have taken the art of presenting a new signing to a new and frankly baffling level.
Despite wielding few household names in their native Norway, the Europa League-chasing side have garnered considerable publicity after their new signing stunt. Clearly imposing your new recruits on the introduction to 1990's class Baywatch is the way forward.
Liban Abdi and Erling Myklebust will certainly never forget their move to Haugesund and for numerous reasons.

FK Haugesund's media team executive Andreas Drange Jensen was the man behind the niche introduction and came up with the idea after becoming intrigued by green-screen technology.
Whether or not he was also a huge fan of Baywatch is unknown, but the Los Angeles-based show proved the programme on which Haugesund's signings would be superimposed.

The hilarious and random clip can be seen below:
The new recruits can be seen alongside Pamela Anderson among others with the show's theme tune 'Save Me'. It must be noted that the green-screen skills leave much to be desired.
For hilarity it cannot be faulted though and the clip has gone viral in Norway. Myklebust executing a fireman's life undoubtedly proves a highlight with a fair dosage of dodgy acting augmenting the entertainment value.
Oddly, this hasn't been the only reveal related shenanigan in the footballing world this summer.
Last month, St. Pauli unveiled their new signing Marvin Ducksch, but their manager Ewald Lienen was unable to make the reveal. An unknown man had to be called in as a replacement and was photographed with Ducksch wearing a specially made Lienen mask.
Similarly, West Ham received a deluge of mockery just this week when they announced their new kit via the medium of rap. It's fair to say the lyricism was lacking.
However, Haugesund simply have to take the crown when it comes to revealing kits or players. It's certainly unorthodox, but the Baywatch stunt will do their publicity little harm.
