Chris Jericho is enjoying a successful stint as a heel.

Chris Jericho could be leaving the WWE in September

Published 1 Comments

The current heel run by Chris Jericho is sure to go down as one of his most entertaining in recent years, considering he made numerous mediocre returns which seemed pointless.

The gift of Jericho kept on giving this year, he’s been involved in some brilliant feuds, and his fantastic heel work alongside the likes of Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio has made us want more from him.

However, as expected, there will be a time where Jericho bows out of the WWE once more, and the WWE Universe have been trying to guess exactly when Jericho will end another memorable stint.

Speaking to Fansided, we may now have the answer, and it all comes down to his latest album with his band, Fozzy.

He said: “We are working on recording a new album in September or October, then have it released next April.

“Originally, the plan was for the album to come out in April of this year and we decided to push it back, and then we decided not to rush it all together. I think taking this time off has people wondering where we are, and that makes them more interested into something we put together when we finally release it.”

The current schedule has Jericho taking on Neville in the WWE overseas tour, which is a clear indication that Neville will be Jericho’s next, and potentially final feud in this current run.

Having been drafted to Raw, which boasts the larger roster, his position on the show may not only be to entertain in his unique way, but to put over a lot more talent than he could have put over on SmackDown Live.

Based on his comments, Jericho should be sticking around for well after SummerSlam, while the Clash of Champions pay-per-view may be one of the final events he participates in, especially if the recording starts in October rather than September.

One thing is for sure, though, fans need to enjoy the coming months and drink in the gift of Jericho, as a return may not come as soon as fans want it to.
