We instantly think that professional footballers must automatically be good at every other sport.
Well, we’ve been served a reminder by Barcelona’s Neymar that that’s not always the case.
The Brazilian may be one of best footballers in the world but when it comes to the sport of golf, he lacks any sort of ability.

In England, whenever Premier League players have a day off, they will likely go down their local golf club for a round. However, it doesn’t seem as though Barcelona players do that - or if they do, they certainly don’t invite Neymar.
After a female golfer shows Neymar how to hit the ball, the 24-year-old felt ready to give it a go.
With an iron in hand, the superstar takes a swing and completely misses the ball showing simply awful technique.
Looking rather embarrassed, Neymar decides he wants another attempt. This time, it’s much better. Well, he connects with the ball but it probably doesn’t go much more than one metre.
Take a look at Neymar’s terrible golfing ability:
To be fair, there aren’t too many professional golfers in Brazil and, considering their huge country, there are only 75 courses - so Neymar didn't really stand a chance of becoming a good golfer. However, some of the best golfers in the world will be heading there next week as Rio hosts the Olympics Games.
Back to Neymar, and after his shocking two tee shots, he decided it was time to show off some fancy footwork.
After his instructor did a few ‘hit-ups’ with her golf club, Neymar opted to use his feet to keep the ball in the air - and he did rather impressively.
Next up for Neymar was putting. This would surely be easy for Neymar; hitting a ball into a target - something he did 31 times for Barcelona last season.
After two failed attempts, it looked as though Neymar wasn’t able to replicate his goalscoring ability on the putting green. However, after he sunk his third shot, confidence was high.
So much so that Neymar went for a ‘no-look’ putt. And he nailed it.
But one thing is for sure, Neymar is a lot better at football than he is at golf.
