Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho is set for showdown talks with boss Jurgen Klopp next week after he was sent home from the club's pre-season tour in America.
This has been reported by the Mirror, who claim that the defender's future on Merseyside is now hanging by a thread.
Sakho, 26, is currently on the sidelines with an Achilles injury but was initially invited on the club's tour.

Ultimately, though, the defender has since been sent home to recover after Reds chief Klopp expressed his concerns over the player's attitude around the squad.
The France international missed the final few months of last season, of course, after being handed a provisional ban by UEFA.

It was stated that UEFA found a prohibited substance during a random drugs test, but Sakho wasn't dealt any further punishment as the fat-burning product wasn't deemed as a performance-enhancing product.
But there's every chance that he could leave Liverpool before the start of the new season. Indeed, the same report from the Mirror claims that Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain would be interested in securing the services of the energetic defender.
And with the report also claiming that Dejan Lovren and new signing Joel Matip are set to be Klopp's first-choice defensive pairing at Anfield, it most definitely won't be easy for Sakho to redeem himself at the club.
Sakho is, however, popular with the Liverpool faithful, but it's fair to say that they will stay loyal with their manager at this stage.
Klopp is quickly changing the dynamic at Anfield and, if he opts to move Sakho on, it would be interesting to see whether he would find a replacement.
A number of high profile players have already departed the club in this transfer window, while others are also expected to move on sooner rather than later.
With Klopp and co. not set to return to English soil until next week, Sakho has a lot to think about. Is he really ready to knuckle down and fight for the cause under Klopp's guidance?
That's far from certain right now and it will be interesting to see just how this latest saga involving the defender plays out.
