Paul Pogba is still not a Manchester United player and the longer this saga rumbles on, the more worried the Red Devils’ faithful will become.
United are understood to have agreed personal terms with the France international, who wants to leave Turin; however, the issue holding up the deal appears to be the eye-watering amount of money Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, is demanding.
According to The Sun, Raiola could bank as much as £25 million if his client completes a world-record move to Old Trafford this summer.

But United have to be careful. It’s no secret that Real Madrid are admirers of Pogba and if there’s one club in world football who enjoy breaking the world transfer record it’s the 11-time European champions.
Zinedine Zidane, Los Blancos’ head coach, is certainly a fan of his 23-year-old compatriot - and dropped a hint to reporters in America last night that Real Madrid are still in the race for the central midfielder.
Worrying news for United fans, not to mention Jose Mourinho and Ed Woodward.
Zidane's latest comments on Pogba
"In this moment we are still working [on a move for Pogba], and I cannot say anything more," the French coach was quoted as saying by Goal. "Until Aug. 31 anything can happen, but today he is not a Real Madrid player and I cannot talk about what will happen.
"I always say how things are, but now is not the time to talk about this. A lot of clubs are interested in Pogba. Real Madrid always want the best players. But we owe Juventus respect, and I can't say anything more out of respect."
Could Pogba still end up at Real Madrid?
Over the past 12 months it has been widely reported that Pogba’s preference, once he leaves Juventus, was to join one of the big two in Spain.
The former United starlet, who left Old Trafford in search of first-team opportunities four years ago, was enticed by the prospect of teaming up with Lionel Messi at Barcelona but also excited by the idea of working under Zidane at the Bernabeu.
However, it seems United are the only club prepared to stump up the cash to satisfy Juventus, Pogba and the player’s agent.
Following Barcelona’s recent acquisition of Andre Gomes, though - a midfielder Real Madrid were convinced they were about to land - could Pogba still end up signing for Zidane’s side?
