Nobody does social media as well as Patrice Evra.
The Juventus defender’s Instagram page is filled with hilarious memes and other wacky videos. Quite the joker, is Uncle Pat.
And when Juve announced the signing of Gonzalo Higuain on Monday, Evra didn’t react with a simple tweet. He went all out to make his new teammate feel incredibly welcome.

Evra posted a video on Instagram featuring him playing table tennis and performing the Running Man Challenge. Yeah, it’s that extraordinary.
In the video, the person recording the former Manchester United defender informs him that Juventus have signed Higuain.
Evra raises doubts that the signing is true but, obviously knowing that the striker has genuinely signed, quickly proceeds to perform the Running Man Challenge when the chorus comes in.
Evra welcomes Higuain
Here’s the translation:
Cameraman: "Pat, did you know that Higuain has signed for Juve?"
Evra: "I don't believe it"
Cameraman: "No, he signed"
Evra: "Nico, did you hear that? He signed! Come on, let's go!!! Forza Juve!"
Evra added the caption: “Welcome to Juventus GONZALO HIGUAIN !!! hahahahahahahaha i love this game !!!”
What is the Running Man Challenge?
The Running Man Challenge is a viral trend which involves dancing to Ghost Town DJ’s 1996 song ‘My Boo’.
American high school students Kevin Vincent and Jeremiah Hall created the challenge and it quickly spread like wildfire.
Champions League contenders
Higuain joined Juventus from Napoli in a deal worth €90 million, making him the third-most expensive player in football history.
The signing of the Argentine forward, who scored 36 goals in Serie A last season, has left many predicting a strong run in next season’s Champions League for the Old Lady.
Juventus will recoup what they spent on Higuain if Paul Pogba leaves this summer, the French midfielder braced for a move to either Manchester United or Real Madrid that would exceed £100m.
Evra’s dancing will most likely stop if Pogba - the player who nicknamed him Uncle Pat - leaves Turin.
