Picking a dream five-a-side team is pretty difficult.

Of all the world-class players to have played the game over the years, selecting just five is an incredibly tough task. However, Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere has nailed it...almost.

Arsenal’s official Twitter account posted a video of their midfielder picking his team with Wilshere opting for Lionel Messi, Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham and Ronaldinho as the four outfield players.

Pretty attacking, but pretty impressive nonetheless.

But who needs defenders when you’ve got super Wojciech Szczesny in goal? Because that’s who Wilshere picks as his goalkeeper. That’s right, not Iker Casillas, not Gianluigi Buffon, not even current teammate Petr Cech, but Szczesny.

Remarkably, Wilshere manages to keep a straight face when saying it.

Take a look at the video below:

The Polish goalkeeper has returned to the Emirates after a season-long loan spell at Roma during the last campaign. However, reports suggest that Szczesny will, again, spend next season at the Italian club.

AS Roma v UC Sampdoria - Serie A

While the inclusion of Szczesny in his five-a-side team is questionable, Messi, Zidane, Beckham and Ronaldinho form a formidable outfield foursome.

They share an impressive 22 league titles between them having played for the biggest clubs around Europe, as well as seven Champions League trophies.

It’s just a shame that Wilshere decided to ruin his team with a dodgy ‘keeper.

Aims for next season

Instead of doing videos for Arsenal’s Twitter account, Gooners will be hoping that Wilshere has a more successful campaign this time around.

Arsenal v VfL Wolfsburg - Emirates Cup

The 24-year-old missed almost the entirety of last term with a leg injury, before making a handful of appearances towards the end of the season. He failed to make an impact this summer at Euro 2016 - which could well have been due to fitness concerns - but he, and Arsenal fans, will be desperate for an injury-free season this time around.
