Unfortunately for Jamie Carragher, his demands to see Liverpool “sign a f***ing left back” haven’t been met so far this summer.

Moreno was booked in the sixth minute for a challenge on Willian. Liverpool fans could have predicted a rough night from there.
Those hoping to see some improvement were let down. The 24-year-old was wasteful in possession and made a series of bizarre decisions, leading to supporters berating him on social media.

The 1-0 defeat to Chelsea was Liverpool's first loss of the pre-season as they kicked off their International Champions Cup campaign with defeat to their Premier League rivals.
The challenge doesn't get any easier. Next up is AC Milan on Saturday in California and Liverpool fly to London to take on Barcelona at Wembley on August 6.
