Matt Hardy recently did a kayfabe interview with Justin Barrasso of SI.com’s Broken Mustard, where he spoke about his and Jeff Hardy's Final Deletion match in TNA and how the compound match between The Wyatt Family and The New Day a week later in the WWE was so similar.
He explained how he felt the WWE copied (it's unclear if they did or not) what he and his brother did because it was such a successful match, and it was as it created good ratings for Impact Wrestling.
Hardy then stated something which might get some wrestling fans excited; he wants to have a match with the leader of The Wyatt Family.

He said: "I actually find fondness and appreciation for the Bray Wyatt. I see that he is driven by a higher power, much like I am driven and motivated and inspired and given strength by the Seven Deities. I respect how he doesn’t walk the normal path, he carves his own.
"I would love, one day down that road, to show up in WWE and have a match with the Bray Wyatt. I would love to bring him to my battlefield and delete him–that would be my honor. If The New Day and the Wyatt Family would have been there with me, I would have not only deleted them, I may have even eaten them. My brokenness has made me become more primal, more instinctual."
The whole interview is brilliant as Matt stays in character throughout. You can just imagine how awesome the feud and the resulting match would be between Hardy and Wyatt if they ever were to meet up in the ring one day.
