Just when you thought Paul Pogba's imminent arrival at Manchester United would bring their summer of spending to an end, fresh reports suggest that might not be the case.
Since taking over on May 27, Jose Mourinho has spent somewhere in the region of £175 million on Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and, should he indeed sign, Pogba.
The Portuguese now appears set to trim his squad before the new Premier League season by selling a number of players, but it would seem further arrivals are possible.

According to the Daily Mail, United are prepared to sign another centre-back if Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo complete moves away in the coming weeks.
And the player they want? Inter Milan loanee Joao Miranda.

The report states that in the event of Blind and Rojo leaving, United could attempt to sign the 31-year-old centre-back from parent club Atletico Madrid.
This is despite the fact that Mourinho has the aforementioned Bailly, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones at his disposal.
A move for Miranda would make sense, though, given the experience he has to offer.
Having spent four successful years in Spain with Atletico, the defender has faced some of football's finest players and notched a number of appearances in the Champions League.
Furthermore, Miranda helped Diego Simeone's side along to La Liga success in 2014 and the Europa League title two years previously.
Simply put, the Brazil international possesses the experience that United's defence currently lacks.
Quite how much Mourinho would have to spend to lure Miranda from Atletico is hard to judge, but given his age and the fact he's clearly surplus to requirements at the Vicente Calderon, a deal in the region of £10 million is most likely.
Blind and Rojo might not be the only players to face the chop under Mourinho, though, with as many as nine players due to be sold or sent on loan by the former Chelsea boss.
The Daily Mail also claim that crunch talks have been held today with Andreas Pereira, Adnan Januzaj, James Wilson, Will Keane and Bastian Schweinsteiger to discuss their uncertain futures.
Of those five names, Schweinsteiger has been told face to face by Mourinho that he must find a new club this summer.
