This is the first Manchester United shirt with ‘Pogba 6’ on the back that Paul Pogba has signed, but it’s safe to assume it won’t be the last.
The French midfielder is currently on holiday in the United States, where it’s understood he completed a medical with the Red Devils on Friday, when he was approached by an optimistic United fan who happened to be wearing the new United shirt with Pogba’s name on the back of it.
The supporter asked Pogba to pose for a photograph, which he did, and the midfielder then agreed to sign the lad’s new shirt.

The Daily Mail reported on Friday that Pogba will wear the No. 6 shirt at Old Trafford.
The 23-year-old has agreed a five-year deal worth £290,000 a week and should sign for the Red Devils within the next few days.
Pogba and Raiola are having fun on social media
However, both Pogba and his agent, Mino Raiola, have been having fun with the media via social media in recent days.
Pogba posted two new photos on Instagram this morning, suggesting that reports he has already completed a medical with United are wide of the mark.
He posted: “breaking news: Pogba undergoes medical visit in Universal Studios amusement park California #tweetcommelequipe #Imonholidays #blablabla #universalstudios.”
This was followed by another post, which says: “news: we catch Pogba with his contract in Universal Studios LA amusement park #tweetcommelequipe #blablabla #Imonholidays #universalstudios.”
But despite the fun and games, it now seems clear that Pogba will re-sign for United.
Pogba signs fan's 'Pogba 6' shirt
And he gave one fan, Jonathan Perk, a memory for life on Friday by signing his brand new replica jersey.
“So this just happened! (Probably the first United jersey he has signed since the impending transfer)” the supporter posted on Instagram, alongside several photos. “Thanks @paulpogba for making my 18th birthday a little more special! #manchesterunited #mufc.”
Pogba unlikely to play in Community Shield
Pogba is unlikely to make his United debut during next weekend’s Community Shield against Leicester City but could be available for the Red Devils’ Premier League opener against Bournemouth on August 14.
