Chelsea are edging closer to bringing Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge.
The Belgium international was sold to Everton for £28 million in 2014 after a season-long loan and, following two excellent seasons, looks set to complete a big-money return.
A deal worth somewhere in the region of £50-60 million has been reported yet the Toffees appear to be holding out for even more, such is their desperation to keep hold of their prized asset or be paid handsomely.

Chelsea's interest is said to be the result of Diego Costa's uncertain future, with the Spain international keen on a return to Atletico Madrid.
They have Michy Batshuayi, of course, but he alone won't be enough to spark Premier League glory.
And they're willing to spend big to re-sign Lukaku.
According to revered Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Ivan Zazzaroni, the Blues have offered Everton an eye-watering €80 million.
So sure is the Italian that Chelsea have lodged an improved bid that when a follower questioned his claim, he responded in very blunt fashion.
Rumours that Lukaku could return to Chelsea come amid speculation that Paul Pogba is due to complete a £112 million move to Manchester United, who he left for Juventus four years ago.
And how's this for an interesting twist in the plot: Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, also happens to represent Lukaku.
In signing the 23-year-old, Chelsea would not only be bolstering their pool of attacking talent but also their Belgian contingent.
Eden Hazard and the aforementioned Batshuayi already ply their trades in west London and are two of European football's finest in their respective positions.
Add Lukaku into the equation and there's a good chance the Premier League title will be returning to Stamford Bridge next term.
