Despite all the rumours in the papers, it has been a relatively quiet transfer window at Manchester City so far.
The upheaval that many predicted new manager Pep Guardiola would bring hasn’t yet materialised, with Ilkay Gundogan and Nolito the only notable additions.
The next big name
However, there is still a month left for the blue half of Manchester to make the sort of high profile moves that their neighbours in red are doing.

Schalke winger Leroy Sane is one of Guardiola’s prime targets, and he would be an excellent addition to their attacking line.
Guardiola announced earlier this week that he is interested in bringing Sane to the club, along with Everton defender John Stones.
The Germany international is expected to fetch a fee of around £40 million, even though Schalke sporting director Christian Heidel has confirmed that Sane has asked to leave the club.
The 20-year-old would be an excellent signing for City, he has already become a key part of the Schalke side despite only coming into the first team 18 months ago, scoring eight goals and provided six assists last season.
Sane would offer City a top-class wide player that they arguably don’t have at the moment.
Raheem Sterling is woefully out of form and there is still a long way to go until he becomes the final product, while Jesus Navas has never really been at his best in the Premier League.
Although Sane is also yet to reach his potential, he is still a player who will improve the current City squad.
His ability to play on both wings and willingness to run at defenders make him the sort of player who will thrive in the Premier League.
It is clear that the best years of Sane’s career are still ahead of him, but he is still capable of making an immediate impact at the Etihad Stadium.
Price will be no issue for a club with the financial power of Manchester City, and Guardiola would certainly be making the right move in bringing him to the club.
City will start the new Premier League season at home to Sunderland in the first Saturday Night Football of the season and Guardiola could be hoping to have Stones and Sane signed in time.
