Football agent Faisal Kashmiri has been fined £25,000 and had his licence suspended following transfers involving Championship clubs Bristol City and Crystal Palace.
Kashmiri represented Australia international midfielder Nick Carle during his transfer from Turkish side Genclerbirligi to Bristol City in January, and the player's subsequent move from Ashton Gate to Crystal Palace in July.
Under the Football Association's rules, agents are prohibited from acting for two different clubs in consecutive transfers involving the same player and clubs are not allowed to use the services of the agent in such circumstances.
Kashmiri admitted the charge at a regulatory commission hearing on Tuesday and will not be allowed to represent any of his clients during the January transfer window. He has requested a personal hearing.
Crystal Palace were also charged in relation to the matter. The club also admitted the charge and were also fined £25,000 by the commission.
