Wantaway Brighton defender Joel Lynch is joining Nottingham Forest on a month-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old centre-half has put in two transfer requests this season and Seagulls boss Micky Adams has now allowed him to join the Championship side on a temporary basis.

Forest manager Colin Calderwood said: "He's a player I have looked at in the past and this gives us a good opportunity to have a look at him for a month."

Adams has also allowed striker Jonny Dixon to join Grays Athletic for a month and loaned youngster Sam Gargan to local side Lewes.
