Paul Pogba’s summer trip to the United States has lasted so long that it makes you wonder if he ever plans on returning to play football.

The 23-year-old also met up with Drake at a recent concert in Madison Square Garden, handing the Toronto rapper a “Pogba 10” Juventus jersey.
But that’s likely to be the last time he makes contact with a Juve shirt. An announcement confirming that Pogba has signed for Manchester United is reportedly imminent, although Jose Mourinho remained mum on the situation on Friday.
“Paul Pogba is a Juventus player until he isn’t, officially, so we stay like this,” the United boss said, although he did later claim the Red Devils are “going to get a very good midfielder."
Pogba has been quizzed
United, Adidas and Mino Raiola may think this ‘will he, won’t he’ game is a barrel of laughs but they’ve dragged it out for far too long.
Even Pogba must be getting annoyed at not being able to break his silence. He’s been snapped with fans, evening signing United merchandise, while the world waits for the announcement.
Real Madrid fan asked Pogba the big question
Another supporter has claimed to have spotted the midfielder on his American adventure, evening asking him if his future lies at Old Trafford.
Reddit user snek0kidFTW posted a photo he took of Pogba at Drake’s concert to United’s subreddit.
The fan, who is actually a Real Madrid supporter, then revealed what happened when he popped the question.
“I know what you're all wondering and I did ask,” he said. “I’m not a United fan but I asked him if he was going to Manchester and he said, ‘Time will tell.’”
You’re such a tease, Paul.
The reddit user then adds: “Real Madrid fan but figured you lot wanted some good news.”
Thankfully, we won’t be waiting too much longer for an announcement. The Premier League season begins next week and Mourinho will be itching to get the midfielder involved in the United setup.
When he does eventually return to the club he left in 2012, his task will be to return United to the heights of Sir Alex Ferguson’s era.
He’s older, more experienced and a better footballer than he was four years ago. His ability to play along in a transfer saga has heightened considerably, too.
