Sadio Mane scores brilliantly-worked goal against Barcelona

Sadio Mane has a lot to live up to after his £30million move from Southampton to Liverpool. 

Jurgen Klopp brought him in because he wanted goals, and if the pre-season friendly against Barcelona is anything to go by, that's exactly what Mane's going to deliver. 

The Senegal international put the Reds in front following some excellent play by his team-mates.

Barcelona gave the ball away cheaply in midfield, but that's not taking anything away from the build-up play. 

Adam Lallana put in a shift to work the ball up the pitch, choosing to pass to Roberto Firmino on the right instead of Philippe Coutinho.

That turned out to be a superb decision as Firmino played it back to Lallana, who then dispatched to Mane before the 24-year-old blasted it into the back of the net.

The goal wasn't against the run of play either, though Barca responded just as you'd expect, putting Liverpool under the cosh, with Lionel Messi hitting the woodwork just minutes later.
