Midfielder George Boateng believes Hull could pull off a shock at Arsenal - but they must "work extremely hard".
Despite their bright start to life in the Barclays Premier League, the Tigers still face a daunting task as they take on Arsene Wenger's in-form side at the Emirates Stadium.
The Dutchman, who looks set to be restored in midfield, said: "I know a lot of journalists won't fancy Hull City going to Arsenal. But I don't think Hull City is going there with no chance at all. We are going there to get something out of the game."
He added: "We are not playing an Arsenal side that is invincible or that is not beatable. Arsenal have already lost at Fulham. We beat Fulham.
"It is not how good they are, it is the best team on the day that is going to win.
"You have to be prepared to work extremely hard.
"This is a team that if you let them play the way the way they want to play, you will find it difficult to stop them.
"But if you are willing to work hard, close them down and play football when you have the ball, you have a chance to win."
