Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho would have been satisfied following his side's 2-1 victory over Premier League champions Leicester City on Sunday.
The Special One watched on as the Red Devils struck late to claim the Community Shield at Wembley.
Jesse Lingard opened the scoring for United after a wonderful solo run, but England international Jamie Vardy equalised for the Foxes after a torrid backpass from Marouane Fellaini.

With the game heading towards a penalty shootout, United struck the winning goal thanks to a fine header from Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Arguably, though, United's triumph wasn't the biggest news coming out of the club on Sunday. That's because the club released a statement confirming that France international Paul Pogba is set to have a medical with the club imminently.
Pogba, 23, departed Old Trafford on a free transfer back in 2012 but is now set to return to the club for a world record fee.
As you can imagine, then, Mourinho entered his post-match press conference feeling somewhat satisfied.
Unsurprisingly, Mourinho's period in front of the press was a comical one and there was one moment in particular that stood out.
To the surprise of the United boss, he caught a journalist sleeping in the back row.
Here's how Mourinho reacted:
As well as reacting to a sleeping journalist, the Portuguese tactician also insisted that the imminent signing of Pogba is an 'amazing' coup for the club.
"I think so, finally," Mourinho told BT Sport, as per Goal.com.
"It is amazing that such a good player is with us. Finally, we have him and he is coming to a winning side.
"He has to work hard to come to the team."
