Antoine Griezmann must get a real kick out of sending Manchester United supporters into a frenzy.
In April, Theo Griezmann tweeted “glory glory Man United” one day after the club’s 1-0 victory over Aston Villa.
That caused quite the response from United supporters, who set about asking Theo to get Antoine to join the Red Devils.

And there was speculation that the Frenchman could leave Atletico Madrid this summer, with Old Trafford being a possible destination.
But any hopes United fans had were allayed when Griezmann signed a contract extension with Atleti in June.
Yet signing a contract extension doesn’t rule out the possibility of Griezmann leaving the Spanish capital, and that United have just spent nearly £90 million on Paul Pogba proves they can meet the forward’s €100m release clause.
So when Theo posted a picture of himself with Pogba after the Frenchman completed his move to United, supporters had just one message for him: Tell your brother to join Pogba at Old Trafford.

Griezmann's heart is in Spain
It seems very likely that Theo is a United fan, so he probably pesters his older bro to move to the Theatre of Dreams. But for now, Griezmann’s heart rests in Madrid.
The 25-year-old has established himself as a world-class player in Spain, and heightened his reputation further by being named Player of the Tournament at Euro 2016, his six goals helping France reach the final and earning him the Golden Boot.
And given the heights Atletico have reached under Diego Simeone - they have been to two Champions League finals in the past three years and won the La Liga in 2014 - it’s no surprise Griezmann wants to stay.
"I'm very satisfied, very happy to keep belonging to this family and this project," he said after signing his contract extension, per Sky Sports.
"I want to improve every year, and the club, the coaches and my teammates can help me to reach this goal.
"The club wants to keep the level as high as possible and we have to give everything to continue growing. I hope we can keep this way and continue with this progression.”
Griezmann scores 32 goals in all competitions last season but, rather impressively, that’s not enough for him.
”Personally I'd like to score more goals, have more time and matches to play, assist more,” he continued. “My goal is always to be better than the last season.”
