Conor McGregor has been busy in the media for the entirety of his UFC career and finally it seems that some stars are hitting back at the Irishman.
Eddie Alvarez took his chance earlier this week, with the current UFC lightweight champion taking some pot shots at McGregor.
Alvarez is really angling for that McGregor fight, which would guarantee him a huge payday, and is using his media duties to try and get, taking aim at The Notorious One by saying the UFC are giving him fights that suit him.

"I don't know him personally, but thank God he's good at talking because he can't fight for s***," Alvarez told CBS Sports Radio about McGregor.
Alvarez went on to say that the UFC have purposefully been giving McGregor fights and opportunities that no one else can get, just because he is a good talker and brings in some money.
"Look, in this sport - the good thing about the UFC and MMA in general is a lot of it's based on perception. They're very good at tweaking this perception. If I can put the right guy with the right mouthpiece in front of the right opponents, we can build a champion, but he doesn't really have to beat the best guys; we just have to give him the right match-ups. This is what this guy's been given," he added.
"He's not fighting anyone who he feels he can lose to."
Alvarez won the UFC lightweight championship off Rafael dos Anjos in a shock victory. McGregor was originally going to take on RDA for the title, in an attempt to become a two-weight champion, until Dos Anjos pulled out and McGregor took on Nate Diaz instead.
We all know how that went. McGregor will take on Diaz at UFC 202 then will likely be forced to defend his featherweight title against Jose Aldo.
If Eddie Alvarez is still lightweight champion by then, maybe he will get that fight he has been angling for.
