Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz are gearing up for the rematch of the century at UFC 202, as they face off against each other in the main event.

The Notorious One will be aiming to avenge the defeat he suffered all the way back at UFC 196 earlier this year and to prove once more that he is the King of the UFC, while Diaz is trying to prove that the first win wasn't a fluke and that he can be even better with a real training camp behind him.

While UFC 202 is the big payoff following months of hype, it doesn't mean that this will be the last ever time the two rivals meet inside the octagon.

McGregor was asked if a win for him would set up an immediate rematch, a finale to the trilogy some would say.

"One hundred percent. Of course. maybe not straight away, but most certainly this will be a trilogy fight," the Irishman started off as saying.

"Me and the boy have something, and it ain’t finished yet."

Diaz was also asked and had a similar response, but his did include a dig at McGregor.

"Who wouldn’t want a rematch with somebody who beat them?" the American said.
