CM Punk's journey to the UFC isn't like most other fighters.
And that's almost certainly why the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion was chosen to be the focus of a new documentary series which focuses on his move from WWE superstar to UFC debutant.
A trailer for the four-part series was released today by the UFC, and it looks good.

The trailer shows Punk getting pounded on in practice, being frustrated after losing what looks like a training fight in the gym, and putting an opponent in what appears to be a modified Kimura Lock. Check it out here...
The 37-year-old Punk will be making his debut at UFC 203 later this year against another newcomer to the promotion, Mickey Gall.
Gall is a youngster with a pretty good amateur fighting background and has been training far longer than his elder counterpart.
He got his chance in the company after impressing Dana White during a short-lived reality series called "Looking for a Fight." Gall then faced off against Mike Jackson in the finale of the series, winning with a rear naked choke in the first round at UFC Fight Night 82.
That win earned Gall his date with destiny against CM Punk on September 10, which is being headlined by Stipe Miocic vs Alistair Overeem.
