Mark Hunt has been understandably frustrated with the UFC, following their lack of action taken in regards to Brock Lesnar’s two failed drugs test.
He’s slammed Lesnar for cheating, Dana White for not doing anything about it and the UFC for the general handling of the situation, while also calling for half of Lesnar’s purse.
He’s remained vocal ever since and looks determined to rid the sport of cheaters and has also threatened to leave the organisation altogether.

He hasn’t taken the drastic action just yet, but he’s slammed the UFC once more after a fan pointed out that Lesnar – who won’t be suspended by the WWE – was removed from the UFC’s official rankings.
He replied to the fan, saying the UFC rankings are ‘fabricated like everything else’.
Although it’s another bold claim made by Super Samoan, many would suggest he has a point as he isn’t the first to call out the UFC in regards to their rankings.
Chris Weidman has also been heavily critical of the UFC handing out title shots to lowly-ranked fighters, focusing on the UFC’s decision to reward a #12 ranked fighter in Dan Henderson to challenge Middleweight Champion, Michael Bisping in Manchester.
QUESTIONABLE TITLE SHOTS
It does seem like a strange decision in what many expect will be Henderson’s final fight, especially when the likes of #3 ranked Jacare Souza is waiting for an opponent and the top ten features exciting fighters such as Yoel Romero.
This probably isn’t the sort of action Hunt was hoping for, as eliminating Lesnar from the rankings does almost nothing as his future in the Octagon was in doubt anyway.
It won’t be the final time the UFC hands out questionable title shots, and you can bet it won’t be the last time Hunt has his say on the situation.
