Arda Turan's frustrating Barcelona career took a turn for the worse on Thursday night.
The 29-year-old landed himself in hot water with the club's fans after 'liking' a picture of Real Madrid's new 'Undecima' kit - representing their 11th Champions League triumph - on Twitter.
Abuse soon bomarded Turan left, right and centre, varying from death threats to pleas for him to leave Barcelona immediately.

In an attempt to apologise for his blunder, though, the winger has posted a series of tweets explaining why his account 'liked' said picture.
But first, here's the image in question.
TURAN LIKES MADRID SHIRT
And here's his response.
He said: "Two days ago my account was hacked for a brief period. During that period 1 RT was made and 2 photos were "liked" without my knowledge.
"I would like my statement regarding this issue to be taken into consideration. Best."
Turan's explaination is valid, of course - Twitter accounts get hacked every day - but whether Barcelona fans will accept his 'apology' is another matter entirely.
Madrid's Champions League triumph in May is still a sensative subject at the Camp Nou given how the Catalans exited the tournament early on in the quarter-finals.
Following his Twitter gaffe, Turan will hope he can appease Barca's disgruntled fan base by replicating some of his pre-season form in the upcoming season.
The Turkey international - who was booed at Euro 2016 - scored a fantastic goal against Celtic during a recent victory and will need to continue finding the back of the net to justify his big-money move from Atletico Madrid last year.
