Adnan Januzaj has been given another chance to reignite his career by completing a one-year loan move to Sunderland.

The Manchester United winger will join up with former manager David Moyes at the Stadium of Light in the hope of getting regular first-team football in the Premier League.

The 21-year-old broke through into the United setup during Moyes' tenure but has failed to convince both Louis van Gaal and now Jose Mourinho he is worthy of a place in the starting XI.

Januzaj spent the first half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund but failed to make much of an impression in the Bundesliga so ultimately found himself back on the Man United bench for the rest of the campaign.

After such a promising start to his Red Devils career, it has been frustrating to see Januzaj's form stagnate over the last few years but there is the hope that being reunited with Moyes can give him the confidence to kick on this year.

Although the former Everton boss struggled to fill the shoes of Sir Alex Ferguson, Januzaj's four goals and as many assists in the 2013/14 season was one of the few positives to come from Moyes' reign.

Januzaj will see a few friendly faces upon his arrival in the north-east as old United teammates Paddy McNair and Donald Love completed the same move but on a permanent basis yesterday.

For the majority of Man United supporters, the young winger's loan move has been welcomed after it became clear over the last few weeks he would not be part of Mourinho's plans.

However, there are also a few who are relieved Januzaj's stint away from Old Trafford is just for a season. After having to pay £89 million to bring back another ex-starlet back to the club in the form of Paul Pogba earlier this week, United fans do not want to see a repeat situation.

Here is some of the best reaction to Januzaj's departure:
