Michael Jordan sends 'Jordan' gear to pickup fan Jeffrey Harrison

Michael Jordan may be the richest basketball player in history, but to the regular Joe, it's the little things that count.

Jeffrey Harrison became an internet sensation in July when a video emerged of him playing pickup basketball in full Michael Jordan gear - including the arm and leg bands.

According to KREM's Darnay Tripp, it was not a one-off occasion, as Harrison pays homage to his hero by always playing in a full MJ uniform. Well, the news made it to His Airness.

Mr. Tripp posted a collection of images on Twitter yesterday showing two boxes of Jordan gear the six-time NBA title-winner sent to Harrison after seeing his video online.

It may not be the throwback uniform he sports on the court, but it will surely mean so much more to him.

With a net worth of over $1 billion, the greatest basketball player to ever grace the hardwood does countless acts for people from all walks of life.

He recently gave his thoughts on the tense situation in America following senseless gun violence that saw both black males and police officers lose their lives. He pledged to donate $1 million to both the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and the Institute for Community-Police Relations.

The Charlotte Hornets owner will also donate $5 million to the African American History and Culture museum in Washington D.C. The museum is set to open on Septemeber 24, and to recognise MJ's contribution, there will be a sports gallery named "The Michael Jordan Hall: Game Changers."
