The King of Strong Style has become one of the most popular superstars in WWE at the moment and is currently enjoying a run towards the NXT Championship.
But according to recent speculation, it seems that Shinsuke Nakamura could be set to lift the NXT Championship at Back to Brooklyn next weekend in order to allow current champion Samoa Joe to take his rightful place on the main roster.
Samoa Joe is a seasoned wrestler who many stars didn't expect to remain in NXT for very long, but instead, Joe has managed to make a huge statement about his future intent on the developmental brand and fully deserves a call-up to the main roster.

NXT: BACK TO BROOKLYN
NXT once again presents their Brooklyn Takeover event the night before SummerSlam this year and that could well be Samoa Joe's bow out from the brand.
Even though NXT is still considered the developmental brand of WWE, according to officials, this is no longer the case. NXT is now thought to be on par with both Raw and SmackDown live except that it is currently a Network exclusive show.
The reason the likes of The Samoan Suplex Machine and The King of Strong Style were kept on the NXT brand for so long. Because NXT has lost much of their headline talent over the past few weeks, including American Alpha, Finn Balor and even Carmella and Alexa Bliss, many stars have been forced to stay on NXT despite being considered ready for the main roster.
MAIN ROSTER ARRIVAL
The current speculation suggests that Samoa Joe will not be the only star called up to the main roster before the big post-WrestleMania talent invasion, with the likes of Bayley and Nakamura being heavily rumored to be placed on either Raw or SmackDown around Royal Rumble season.
Bayley is once again fighting for the NXT Women's Championship at next weekend's epic event and if she wins the title it seems it will not hinder her impending main roster debut. This is the same for Nakamura who is currently the favourite to win his highly anticipated match against Joe on Saturday night.
NXT has lost a lot of talent because of the brand split so it will be interesting to see how the brand recovers if more stars begin to be promoted in the coming months, but it will be even more interesting to see how the likes of Joe and Nakamura are integrated onto the main roster.
