New Colchester boss Paul Lambert is determined to stop their League One rivals running riot at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

The Us have claimed six of their eight points on the road since moving into their new ground this term.

But Lambert promises his side will give visiting teams a much rougher ride from now on.

He told the club`s official site: "It seems that it has been a little too easy for teams to go away with the points from here and that has to stop now.

"If teams are going to win at Colchester, they will have worked for it while I am the manager.

"But believe me, we have a very good squad of players here and they can go on a run like any team and get up to the right end of the table."
