Darren Bent is determined to lift Tottenham off the foot of the Barclays Premier League and fears getting cut adrift if they do not kick-start their season immediately.
Spurs are enduring their worst start to a campaign since 1912, and they face Stoke next week as they look for their first league win of the season.
"One win won't get us out of it, we need to start winning games so that there isn't a gap where you need to win two or three games just to have a chance," Bent said, speaking at an EA Sports event with the NBA.
"We've got a difficult game against Stoke but if we prepare like we know we can do, and play like we did against Hull in periods, we know we can beat anyone."
Bent is confident Spurs can climb out of trouble and feels everybody at the club is pulling in the same direction.
"Everyone is still upbeat," he added. "There are things going around that there is unrest in the dressing room but everyone is behind the manager, and we are all behind each other.
"I've said on numerous occasions, I'm sure we'll be okay and we'll put it right sooner or later.
"It's disappointing, obviously, but we have to take positives and in some games we've been playing well enough to get something from games."
