This past weekend's Knockhill meeting was always going to be an eventful one, but what transpired surprised spectators.
Indeed, Carlin teammates Petru Florescu and Devlin DeFrancesco well and truly stole the show following a quite extraordinary crash.
With the two teammates battling it out for fourth in Race 2 of the British F4 Knockhill weekend, Florescu collided with DeFrancesco, who went on to hit the tyre barriers.

DeFrancesco made the mistake of failing to give his teammate enough room, which led to the crash taking centre stage.
But then things escalated even further as an extremely frustrated and disgruntled Florescu opted to get out of his car and make his way towards his Canadian teammate.
Despite having more than enough time to gather his thoughts, Florescu couldn't contain his anger and lashed out at DeFrancesco.
As you can see in the video below, it didn't take long for a marshal to intervene to stop the pair colliding further.
The incident, unsurprisingly, had severe consequences for Florescu, who had been well involved in the title picture.
The Romanian went into the weekend with a four-point lead at the top of the standings but was excluded from the meeting, which has now left him way back in sixth position. In fact, his antics have left him as many as 30 points behind new leader Max Fewtrell.
DeFrancesco, on the other hand, was handed a 10-place grid penalty for causing the collision, but duly admitted his mistake.
DeFrancesco speaks out
Following the crash, DeFrancesco stated: "I don't want to remember it. I made a little mistake and didn't give him quite enough room."
DeFrancesco also admitted that he was surprised by his teammate's reaction to the crash, stating: "I wasn't expecting it."
