Just days after he produced a brilliant Premier League debut for Liverpool scoring a wonderful individual goal, Sadio Mane is facing a spell on the sidelines.
It was reported on Wednesday afternoon that the former Southampton winger has been taken to hospital after suffering a shoulder injury in training.
Various reports suggest that the £30 million signing may have dislocated his shoulder as he anxiously awaits scan results.

While it’s obviously terrible news for Liverpool fans, some of them are blaming one man for the injury. Despite there being very little details about how the injury came about, supporters think it was Alberto Moreno who caused the injury.
The left-back was criticised for his poor performance against Arsenal on Sunday with Kopites urging Jurgen Klopp to sign a new left-back before the transfer window shuts. And some people are convinced it was the Spaniard that injured Mane.
Liverpool fans blame Moreno
Check out the hilarious reaction below:
While we can neither confirm nor deny the fact that Moreno did the damage, we have to admit we find it pretty funny how he can get the blame despite no evidence suggesting it was him.
If Mane has dislocated his shoulder, he is likely to spend a couple of months on the sidelines. However, the injury could just be a slight sprain meaning anything from a couple of days to a couple of weeks in the treatment room.
One thing is for sure, Liverpool fans will be desperate to see the Senegalese star back on the pitch as soon as possible - especially considering the tough fixtures they have coming up.
They face Burnley away on Saturday before a trip to White Hart Lane to play Tottenham. They then welcome Leicester to Anfield - the first home match since the redevelopment on the Main Stand - before travelling to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea.
It’s unknown if Mane will be available for those fixtures at this stage and it will certainly be interesting to discover how exactly he injured himself in training. If it was actually Moreno, expect Liverpool supporters to explode with fury.
