The WWE's fabled Wellness Policy has struck again as two former world champions were suspended for 30 days yesterday.
Alberto Del Rio was the first name reported to have recorded his first violation of the policy. Mexico's Greatest Export also has an opt-out option in his contract starting next month and he could have conceivably wrestled his last match in the company.
There had been murmurs that Del Rio has been unhappy with his position on the card anyway and was possibly seeking an exit from the WWE for the second time.

This suspension - much like Roman Reigns is finding out - won't do anything to enhance his situation in the company at all. In fact, it leaves the 39-year-old in quite a precarious situation.
Remarkably, his partner and former Diva's champion Paige is the other offender. The Brit is also due to serve a 30-day suspension for her first violation of the policy and one has to wonder if the pair took the same supplement.
Surely it's not just a coincidence that these two have been suspended at the same time? The break together might be a welcome reprieve from their current status on the card and the grind of the road, but it doesn't help either of their long-term futures.
Paige was recently pulled from the WWE's tour of New Zealand and Australia due to injury and reports had circulated suggesting that officials were worried about her future in the company.
Del Rio's last match before the suspension came this past week against John Cena in the main event of Smackdown Live. It would be ironic if his last match in the company ended up being against the Leader Of The Cenation, just like his first match back, too.
